The Quad ERA-1 is the brand's first-ever headphone — an open-back planar magnetic design drawing on Quad's legendary expertise with electrostatic loudspeakers. These are in good condition with minimal headband and ear-pad wear and will be supplied in original box with manual, 3.5mm-to-6.35mm adaptor, two spare ear pads (leather and fabric), and a headphone cable. It features an ultra-thin diaphragm thinner than a human hair, with patented nonlinear vibration suppression technology. The Absolute Sound awarded it a glowing review: 'The ERA-1 now stands as one of the finest attainably-priced headphones that money can buy.' Hi-Fi+ called it 'the headphone equivalent to Quad's ESL-57 speaker' with 'better and deeper bass, sharper transient attacks and broader dynamic capabilities.'

Carriers
We despatch the bulk of our UK mainland items on a 24 hour service. Non-Mainland locations – Isle of Man, Isle of Wight, the Scilly Isles, the Scottish highlands and Islands, the Channel Islands and Northern Ireland may take a day or so longer. Smaller items are delivered using Royal Mail 24 or special delivery. Larger items are delivered using a courier service such as UPS and occasionally by a Pallet service.
