Technics cassette decks are ideal for recording and playback of digital sources. They offer not only good sound, but also convenience and reliability.
The Dolby HX Pro system automatically optimizes bias for greater high frequency, and lower distortion levels during recording. Built-in dbx reduces tape hiss by expanding dynamic range to about 110 dB. Dolby B-C NR gives widespread noise reduction for compatibility with other systems. The result is ideal for digital source recording and completely compatible with your car audio, portable stereo, or other cassette deck system.
The three head system allows separate dedicated heads for erase, record and playback. Rather than compromise the design of one head for both record and playback the separate record head has a wide gap (4µ) to raise maximum output level while the playback head with a narrow gap (1µ) ensures good high frequency playback.
As the record and playback heads are separate it is possible to monitor the recording a split second after it has been made giving additional confidence in the results of an important recording.
To bring out the full potential of the tape transport and head systems, Technics’ new advanced decks feature the breakthrough Class AA circuit technology, already proven in Technics hi-fi amplifiers. By isolating voltage control from the current supply in the equaliser circuit Class AA helps assure that the recorded wave form is faithful to the input signal.

Carriers

We despatch the bulk of our UK mainland items on a 24 hour service.  Non-Mainland locations – Isle of Man, Isle of Wight, the Scilly Isles, the Scottish highlands and Islands, the Channel Islands and Northern Ireland may take a day or so longer. Smaller items are delivered using Royal Mail 24 or special delivery. Larger items are delivered using a courier service such as UPS and occasionally by a Pallet service.
