Here we have an example of Rega’s classic P3-2000 turntable - the prettiest P3 ever built. Over the years little looks to have changed in the Planar 3 series but dig a little deeper and each new model from this specialist British company gets some very important tweaks and upgrades. As its name suggests this model was introduced in 2000 and according to Rega’s website ran in production until 2007. The main difference is a redesigned plinth which is thicker, bevelled at its edges and is apparently made of a different material to the previous version. A thicker 12 mm glass platter is also fitted. The P3 2000 comes as standard with Rega’s RB300 tonearm, a one-piece die-cast aluminium-alloy tube with a decoupled counterweight and coil-spring–type tracking force adjustment. Our example is fitted with a Rega Bias 2 cartridge, is in good fully working condition and is supplied in its original packaging. As usual this item comes with our standard warranty but please note this does not cover the fitted cartridge.

Your Rega turntable has been designed to effectively reproduce music whilst being easy to use. We have omitted all the usual gimmicks; concentrating the manufacturing costs on the high quality and design necessary to reproduce records accurately. Using a manual speed change (for the odd occasion you may want to play a 45 RPM record) rather than an automatic mechanism, eliminates speed inconsistencies and possible damage to the drive belt. The money we save with this method is spent on an expensive low vibration motor which would normally be used on a turntable costing two or three times the amount. Rega’s simplistic design and the use of extremely high quality components ensure that your turntable should last for many years.

We calculate your shipping rate based on the total weight of your items and your delivery address. Standard shipping to the UK Mainland (excludes Northern Ireland, Isle of Man, Channel Islands) is free, except where specifically indicated. Don't worry, you'll always see the final shipping charge displayed before you reach the payment step (on the checkout page).
Carriers
We despatch the bulk of our UK mainland items on a 24 hour service. Non-Mainland locations – Isle of Man, Isle of Wight, the Scilly Isles, the Scottish highlands and Islands, the Channel Islands and Northern Ireland may take a day or so longer. Smaller items are delivered using Royal Mail 24 or special delivery. Larger items are delivered using a courier service such as UPS and occasionally by a Pallet service.
