ASTINtrew has built an enviable reputation for excellence in sound and value-for-money audio products, it continues this tradition with the ‘AT2’ product range, launched 2017 with the AT2-2100 integrated amplifier and now an established range of products.
The AT2 range are all designed using solid state electronics, making use of class A designs and innovative electronics solutions to continue the Astin Trew tradition and philosophy of being ‘true to the source’; offering musicality that both respects and portrays the musician’s full intentions with no listener fatigue – in other words, audio finesse at real world prices.
Products offer both single ended RCA and balanced XLR connections, use a very high-quality ladder resistor volume controller, selected for its neutral impact on the signal, and use of audio quality components throughout.

AT2-1100 Pre-Amplifier

A pre-amplifier designed to add or take nothing from the audio input. Driven from an oversized transformer and sophisticated power supply, each amplification stage uses an independent power supply to ensure as little crosstalk and distortion as possible. A ladder resistor volume control ensures the cleanest sound path, selected for neutral impact on the music signal. Inputs include 5 x single ended RCA and 1 x balanced XLR, single ended and balanced outputs provided for connection to a power amplifier stage.

AT2-5100 Power Amplifier

180W/8ohm per channel, using a single pair of output MOSFET’s per channel in class A/B, offers stunning clean and detailed sound to the loudspeakers. A dual mono amplifier sporting two large power transformers and a host of innovative electronics to provide the very lowest distortion figures.
This Power Amplifier offers wide and supremely integrated frequencies with a holographic sound stage, realistic tonal ‘colours’ and superb dynamics. Sophisticated diagnostic controls ensure the output closes down in any fault condition.

Shipping Rates

We calculate your shipping rate based on the total weight of your items and your delivery address. Standard shipping to the UK Mainland (excludes Northern Ireland, Isle of Man, Channel Islands) is free, except where specifically indicated. Don't worry, you'll always see the final shipping charge displayed before you reach the payment step (on the checkout page).

Carriers

We despatch the bulk of our UK mainland items on a 24 hour service.  Non-Mainland locations – Isle of Man, Isle of Wight, the Scilly Isles, the Scottish highlands and Islands, the Channel Islands and Northern Ireland may take a day or so longer. Smaller items are delivered using Royal Mail 24 or special delivery. Larger items are delivered using a courier service such as UPS and occasionally by a Pallet service.
