The midrange became more open, highs smoother, and bass deeper, resulting in a captivating soundstage. Delivering 70 watts per channel into 8 ohms (and 100 watts per channel into 4 ohms), it easily powered demanding speakers. With a sleek silver faceplate featuring modest knobs and buttons, the amplifier exuded classic British design elegance.
