Introduced in 1976, the original Planar 3 models came with the Acos derived R200 tonearm, but from 1983 the improved RB300 tonearm was fitted as standard. It wasn’t until 2000 and the arrival of the P3 that the design was changed, but you would be hard pressed to see the differences. Even the latest version introduced in 2016 still looks very similar to the classic Planar 3 we have here. It is in good condition and has the 24V motor upgrade and associated Neo Power Supply, plus our classic three month warranty.
