The NAP 250 must be one of the longest running power amplifiers still in production today, with the company’s website quoting 1975 as the year of its introduction. In all that time, it has been steadily improved and has had four external makeovers. It started out life with the “chrome bumper” look that we have here and then in the late eighties came the change to the “Olive” finish before it took on Naim’s “Classic” style in the early noughties and, of course quite recently it has undergone a complete change to become part of the “New Classic” line.
