It was launched in the late 1970s and was Michell’s first entry level turntable. Ours comes with the original Michell Focus unipivot tonearm whose underslung counterweight was the inspiration for Michell’s modern TecnoWeight. It is in good condition with a few age related blemishes. NOTE: this unit has been built as 33rpm only. It will be supplied in original factory packaging and comes with our standard three month warranty.\u003cbr\u003e\nMichell Say….\u003cbr\u003e\nWith sales growing steadily, it was decided to introduce an entry-level product so that the Michell brand could reach out to a wider audience. The Focus One consisted of a simple plinth suspended on sprung feet. The improved ‘S’ version followed quickly and was fitted with an improved drive system and heavy aluminium platter.\u003cbr\u003e\nThe Focus One Turntable represents the very latest in record player engineering techniques and is designed to complement the finest high fidelity reproducing equipment.
