It comes in good condition and will be professionally packaged along with a remote control unit, mains cable and our regular three month warranty.
Opera Audio Say….
Every Consonance product is based on a simple philosophy:
The audio reproduction instrument shall reproduce the original musical sound, purely and naturally.
It shall use Opera audio design reflecting natural music reproduction and styling to fit in with any interior.
The products shall be easy to operate and shall be manufactured according to the best quality principles.
All Consonance products are created with acoustic instruments in a concert situation as point of reference. The music is reproduced exactly like the original and is limited only by the quality of the recording.
The CD-player has two types of analogue audio outputs: unbalanced (vacuum tube) audio signal with RCA plugs (phono plugs) and true balanced audio signal with XLR plugs (pin 2 is positive phase, pin 3 is negative phase and pin 1 is chassis earth). The CD-player has got one RCA standard SPDIF digital audio output. Digital signal level is 0.5 Vpp when terminated in 75 ohm load. This is the standard load impedance of external DAC's and other recording equipment.
The appeal of non-oversampling DACs lies in the less is more audio ideal, the fewer components there are in the signal path the more of the signal should get through.
The NOS (Non-Oversampling) DAC was conceived by Ryohei Kusunoki in 1996. He wanted to find a way of avoiding time smear in digital audio and, therefore, considered the digital filter to be the biggest cause of this problem. As it's the digital filter that does the over oversampling, he built a DAC that did away it altogether and used an analogue filter after the DAC.
Specifications:
DAC Resolution: 24-bit 192 kHz multilevel sigma-delta with synchronous upsampling
Clock Jitter: Less than 14 ps directly distributed to DAC
Signal Output: 2.3 V RMS (RCA), 4.6 V (XLR)
Output Terminals Gold plated Tube RCA unbalanced and gold plated XLR balanced
Frequency response Less than ± 0.1 dB deviation 20 Hz - 20 kHz
Phase Response: Less than 2 degrees deviation 20 Hz - 20 kHz
Signal-to-Noise Ratio: More than 110 dB (XLR); More than 100 dB (RCA)
Crosstalk: Less than - 100 dB
Distortion: Less than 0.0025% (XLR); Less than 0.03% (RCA)
Intermodulation Distortion: Less than 0.002% (19 kHz + 20 kHz)
Remote Control: Philips RC-5 compatible IR system 36 kHz modulation frequency
Vacuum Tube: Sovtek 6H30 x 1
AC Power Connection: 240 V/230 V/220 V/115 V/100 V AC
Dimensions: 430 (W) x 330 (D) x 120 (H) mm
Weight: 18.0 kg
