The central conductors are of an unusually large gauge compared to most interconnects (actually the same size as Rumour speaker cable). The dielectric is Teflon, and the shield is a closely woven, silver plated braid. The two runs of cable are twisted together by hand and the twists are held in place with lengths of heat shrink tubing (red is used for the right hand interconnect and black for the left). This is another balanced design cable that uses the two central conductors for send and return whilst the two shields are connected at one end of the cable to make a floating earth.\u003cbr\u003e\nThe Chord Chorus sound is open, neutral, fantastic bass performance and great dynamics, this is a high performance interconnect, but it is also one that will dramatically improve the sound of even quite modestly priced equipment.
