SRM Arezzo Ultra Turntable

Here we have an Arezzo turntable from British company SRM TECH. It is fitted with all the upgrades that actually turns it from the standard model into an Arezzo Ultra, see below for details. It is fitted with a Rega manufactured 300 series tonearm with upgraded wiring and counterweight. It is in good fully working condition. It will be professionally packaged and comes with our regular three month warranty.

The Arezzo has been designed to outperform any other turntable at anywhere near its price and has many unique features. It also looks really good and everyone who has heard the turntable at our factory has been amazed by the sound quality – it really does sound special.
The Arezzo features:

We don’t believe in paper specifications when applied to a turntable as they tell you absolutely nothing about how the deck will sound. Suffice it to say that the Arezzo has incredibly low wow and flutter, phenomenal dynamic range and inaudible rumble due to the integrity of the drive system and quality of the main bearing.

Arezzo Kinetic:
As Arezzo, including factory fitted balanced flywheel/pulley assembly with 5 belt drive system. The Arezzo Kinetic Drive is optimised for 33rpm vinyl playback as this speed is used predominantly by most people. When playing at 33rpm all 5 belts are utilised, a short belt drives the flywheel from the motor, and this runs under the Arezzo subplatter. 3 belts then drive the subplatter from the pulley on the flywheel and a further belt drives from the motor to the sub platter. This gives the Arezzo Kinetic an extremely stable and positive drive by smoothing out the power from the motor. When 45rpm is required, the flywheel is still driven from the motor however, 2 belts then drive the sub platter from the motor. The flywheel/pulley assembly is a precision machined component which, like the Arezzo main bearing, uses a Tungsten Carbide spindle with phosphor bronze bushes ensuring silent operation and very long life.
Arezzo Ultra:
The Ultra is the ultimate Arezzo including the balanced flywheel and our high current power supply. The high current power supply is housed in a sleek black acrylic case and includes mains filtering. The Arezzo Isolation Platform is again made from jet black acrylic and sprung by 4 sorbothane feet. Unlike the Arezzo’s base, the Isolation Platform has square corners enabling the MegaCover to sit perfectly on it. The MegaCover is fabricated from strong 4mm clear acrylic and features a rear cut out for the turntable wiring and clear plastic domed feet to prevent scratching.
In case you were wondering…. the turntable is named after Guido of Arezzo, a Benedictine monk who in 1025 invented musical (staff) notation – the system we still use today.
