Sony MDS-JE530 Minidisc Recorder

Sony originally announced the MiniDisc format in 1992 as a successor to the analogue cassette tape. Unfortunately that same year rival digital format DCC was introduced and so another format war took place. Neither format won though with the arrival of recordable CD and then MP3 players meaning neither had a particularly long shelf life. MiniDisc though still has a small niche presence and the quality on offer from recordings can be very good. Here we have a well-regarded example from Sony themselves – the MDS-JE530. It is in fully working condition, will be supplied professionally packaged along with remote control and our usual three month warranty.
