Naim NAP 180 Power Amplifier (1996)

A super example of the “Olive” finish NAP 180 power amplifier from British specialist NAIM Audio. Originally launched way back in 1992, but even today this is still a very highly regarded amplifier especially by Naim aficionados. Very good overall cosmetic condition and has also been serviced by Class A in 2016, it comes in original packaging, with SNAIC cable, mains cable and our standard three month warranty.

The NAP 180 is housed in a large non-magnetic extruded aluminium case. Internally a substantial 430VA toroidal transformer has separate windings to provide dedicated left and right rectified power supplies, with two smoothing capacitors per channel. An especially low noise 24-volt power supply is built in, providing clean, stable power for use with Naim preamplifiers.
