Naim CDX CD Player

Here we have a quite rare, CDX CD Player from British Hi-Fi specialists Naim Audio. Although only around for a relatively short time, partly due to the “Olive” finish range morphing into the “Classic” range, this player garnered much praise for its typical Naim attributes of pace, rhythm and timing otherwise known as PRaT! It features the somewhat unusual CD transport that sits in a manually swing-out CD tray and is in very good condition. It comes in replacement factory packaging with remote control, CD puck, burndy plug, mains & generic 5 pin DIN cable, plus our standard three month warranty.

In the CDX, a swing-out tray is employed that effectively maintains the benefits of top loading and yet neatly rotates back inside the player. The CDX tray is made of a glass reinforced phenolic material that damps vibration and its single pivot point elegantly decouples and isolates the transport and servo circuitry from the main chassis.
