Naim CD3.5 CD Player

An original slimline CD3.5 CD Player from British Hi-Fi specialists Naim Audio. This player was launched in 1997 in the “Olive” style casework. Our example is in very good condition with just a couple of minor blemishes, comes professionally packaged, with remote control, SNAIC cable, and manual.

It is a single-box CD player, with again a novel design from Naim which features a CD transport that sits in a manually swing-out CD tray, and a special CD puck magnetically holds the disc in place. It is also upgradeable by adding a FlatCap power supply unit. The player itself uses a Philips VAM 1205 transport mechanism coupled with a Philips TDA 1305 chip, which provides digital filtering and 18-bit D/A conversion.
