Naim CD 3.5 CD Player (1999)

Here we have an original slimline CD 3.5 CD Player from British Hi-Fi specialists Naim Audio. This player was launched in 1997 in the “Olive” style casework. Our example is in good working order, OK cosmetic condition, comes professionally packaged, with remote control, SNAIC cable, manual, 2 CD pucks, transit screw and our standard three month warranty.
It is a single-box CD player, with again a novel design from Naim which features a CD transport that sits in a manually swing-out CD tray, and a special CD puck magnetically holds the disc in place. It is also upgradeable by adding a FlatCap power supply unit. The player itself uses a Philips VAM 1205 transport mechanism coupled with a Philips TDA 1305 chip, which provides digital filtering and 18-bit D/A conversion.
