In generally good condition, noting some light marking to the top and a few other minor blemishes, this unit comes in original factory packaging with remote control, SNAIC cable, mains cable, and our full 3 month warranty.

The AV2 is a comprehensively featured processor equipped with some typically thoughtful Naim Audio touches and enhancements. Able to decode all the latest software formats as well as offering a logical set-up process and an intuitive user interface, the AV2 is also capable of handling digital programme material encoded for seven full bandwidth channels and one sub-woofer. Those typical touches include a direct processing mode that enables the AV2 to operate as a high quality analogue stereo preamplifier, and a versatile input mode that provides multi-channel analogue signal input capability. There’s very little the AV2 can’t do.
The AV2 is an audio processor for Dolby* Digital, Dolby Surround and DTS Digital Surround™ encoded programme material. It is designed to decode and control audio signals in multi-channel home theatre systems and to interface between an audio-visual system and a conventional two channel audio system.
The Naim AV2 can be used either as a high-quality preamplifier or processor in addition to an existing stereo system. For example, the NAIT 5si, when used with the AV2, will amplify the right and left channels. The remaining surround and centre channels are amplified using our matching three-channel power amplifier, the NAPV 175. Please note that for enhanced 6.1 or 7.1 surround sound a further NAP 150x will be required.
