From award winning British Hi-Fi manufacturer Musical Fidelity comes this excellent PAIR of X-A50 power amplifiers. With their quirky form-factor and minimalist design these units still look the part. In very good condition and with original packaging they come with our usual three month warranty.
Musical Fidelity Say….
The X-A50 is a mono power amplifier, two are required for stereo operation, further units can be used if required for multi-channel surround sound systems or for bi-amping etc.
Two pairs of high current bipolar power transistors per unit gives excellent load driving ability coupled to solid bass control.
Complete physical separation of left and right channels for faultless soundstaging and imaging properties – ideal for surround sound use. Each unit may be placed very close to its speaker minimising the loudspeaker cable lengths – improves sound quality, particularly bass control.
The X-A50 can be used with a preamplifier or any line level source which has a volume control. We highly recommend the matching X-PRE Class A Tube Preamp as an excellent choice.

Reviews

Quotes from Hi-Fi Choice review….
” …they just sounded enormous: snappy, informative, pacy. It’s a mark of good amps when the sound is not just a polite tableau but, instead, a three-dimensional entity barely contained by the speakers. There was bass, there was treble – and there was music.”
” …Straight away I heard amazing imagery, metronomic timekeeping and authentic dynamics.”
” …detail, imagery, timing, power in reserve.”
