Really nice example of the Syncro turntable from British specialist J.A. Michell. This turntable is visually in keeping with the companies GyroDec and Orbe but the more affordable Synchro is smaller, neater and possibly better looking. It is fitted with a Linn Akito tonearm and comes in very good condition for its age. It will be professionally packaged plus it is supplied with our usual three month warranty, although please note this does not cover the fitted Audio Tecnica cartridge.
Michell Said….
Inspired by the design of the GyroDec, the Syncro became the entry-level model in the early ‘80’s. An inverted-pendulum suspension design, the Syncro featured a glass platter. Later versions had a squarer plinth and a full hinged acrylic cover.

Linn Said….
The Akito incorporates much of the technology developed for the Ekos tonearm. In order to achieve maximum strength and rigidity, high performance adhesives are used.
The one-piece headshell and the bearing housing are high-pressure die-cast for added strength.
The new larger diameter bearing assembly minimises friction and play. Every detail of the arm has been optimised.
This arm sets new standards of performance at this price level.
