Here we have a very distinctive turntable from British company Michell Engineering, or Michell Audio as they have rebranded themselves now. Back in the nineteen-eighties they had introduced a radically styled turntable known as the Michell GyroDec a classic design that is still in production toady. Somewhat later the Syncro was launched as the entry-level model taking some styling cues from the more expensive deck. This was superseded by the Mycro, which used the same plinth yet added the GyroDec MkII acrylic platter and a smaller version of the unique inverted bearing. The Mycro stayed in production until the launch of the Gyro SE (Spider Edition) with its smaller footprint compared to the earlier GyroDec. Our example is in very good condition, noting some signs of wear to the headshell of the Rega RB300 that is fitted. It will be supplied professionally packaged along with our standard three month warranty.
