Cyrus Two Integrated Amplifier / PSX Power Supply – Grey

Here we have a pair of Cyrus components in their typical shoe-box sized casings. These are the classic Two integrated amplifier and a PSX outboard power supply, which were introduced when Cyrus was actually the electronics division of the original Mission company. For their age they are in very good condition with a couple of minor blemishes – please see photographs. They will be professionally packaged along with original manual and our standard three month warranty.

Essentially similar to Cyrus 1, the Cyrus Two provides even greater drive capability for systems requiring more power. The benefits acquired by moving to the Cyrus Two include an increase in headroom and wider dynamic capability, the extra power allowing the Cyrus Two to respond to whatever demands are placed upon it by either the music or the
partnering speakers. In addition, the Cyrus Two incorporates a more refined MC section to match and optimise the performance of the most esoteric cartridges available.
But it doesn’t stop there. For music lovers wanting even greater power in reserve, the Cyrus Two can be upgraded with the addition of the Cyrus PSX outboard power supply. This outboard unit, housed in the same size enclosure as the Cyrus Two, delivers vast amounts of power and current to the Cyrus Two’s amplifier stage, leaving the Cyrus Two’s onboard power supply to serve only the needs of the pre-amplifier circuitry. The benefits of adding a PSX therefore affect both sections of the Cyrus Two, thus creating an affordable package with performance in keeping with high priced exotica. As an added bonus, the PSX can also be used with the Cyrus PCMII CD player to enhance its performance in a similar fashion.
