CJ Walker CJ58 MkII Turntable / ADC ALT-1 Tonearm – Black

Here we have a vintage turntable from the British company C.J. Walker. Our example of the well regarded CJ 58 comes fitted with an ADC ALT-1 Tonearm. Both items probably date back to the mid nineteen-eighties but come in good fully working condition – please refer to photographs for cosmetic condition. It will all be supplied suitably packaged along with our regular three month warranty, although please note the fitted cartridge is not covered by said warranty. Hinges are not original.

One of a range of three, easy to install, low mass tonearms. Aluminium arm tube with interchangeable carbon fibre headshell.

The turntable sounded well balanced, with a decent bass register, the latter strong in terms of extension and articulation. Stereo images showed better depth than usual, while the central focus was clear and stable …. and certainly deserves a Best Buy rating.
