The Azur 351R is a 5.1 AV receiver that delivers superb quality surround sound, plus stunning audiophile stereo for brilliant music reproduction, all at amazing value.
Following our ‘Sound First’ principles, we’ve prioritised audio quality, to deliver the best-sounding AV receiver you’ll ever hear at this price. For example, most living room setups are 5.1 (five speakers plus a subwoofer). So instead of giving you a 7.1 receiver with two channels you might never use, our engineers have spent the development budget putting better quality components into the bits you will use.
So, whether you’re listening to Blu-ray surround sound, a CD, or one of the many other digital and analogue inputs, it’s the ability to play music without compromise that really separates the 351R from its competition!
The 351R offers high quality audio from an AVR. To help us achieve this, we’ve used technologies from our more expensive AV receivers and included them in the 351R, including premium toroidal transformers for stunning low distortion sound, our unique X-tract heat sink design for virtually silent operation and an acoustically damped all-metal chassis to minimise distortion which can be caused by vibration.
The 351R outputs 70 watts per channel so it can easily drive most loudspeakers, and really sounds like a proper piece of hi-fi equipment.
The 351R uses the very latest dual Cirrus Logic DSPs which ensures compatibility with all the latest audio and video CODECs and formats, and which also ensures that the product is ready for the future. We also have four 3D compatible HDMI inputs and 1 HDMI output which also supports an audio return channel (ARC).
Electronics (and therefore sound quality) are particularly susceptible to vibration; that’s why we’ve used a low resonance, acoustically-dampened metal chassis to eliminate as much vibration as possible, ensuring that the most sound quality is extracted from each source.
