Arcam FMJ P35 Power Amplifier – Black

Arcam first started building amplifiers in the mid-seventies with the A60 as their first product. From that relatively simple design, which went on to sell over 30,000 units, they went on to incorporate more features and improvements to reach into the 21st century. The FMJ (full metal jacket) P35 power amplifier we have here is the two channel variant, that is in good fully working condition, with a few small blemishes – please see photographs. It comes supplied in original packaging, along with manual, mains lead and our normal three month warranty.

The P35 is a very powerful two or three channel power amplifier, producing 100 watts per channel into 8 ohm speakers and 150 watts per channel into 4 ohms . This power is delivered with extraordinary subtlety and control and is designed to deliver superb performance with either an integrated amplifier in a bi amp system or with a separate pre-amplifier. The P35 was designed with high resolution sound in mind from such sources as SACD and DVD-Audio. The resulting measured performance is outstanding with extremely low Total Harmonic Distortion, bandwidth and power delivery.
However, it is the P35s musical performance that makes it stand clear of the competition. From hard-hitting dance music to large scale orchestral, the P35 handles the power and subtleties of music with equal aplomb. The P35 is available in either two or three channel versions covering stereo and home cinema applications.
The P35 was designed and manufactured in the UK and available in either silver or black finish.
