Logic Said….
Introducing Logic Tempo, a new range of superb front end combinations designed and built to put your hi-fi system in
a different league, at a price you can afford.
With the chassis suspension and other fundamental design principles of Logic’s famous DM 101 turntable as standard, the Tempo simply out-classes anything in its price range.
The basic Tempo front end is comprised of a mechanical speed change turntable complete with a special tonearm. A combination designed to produce optimum sound quality whether you’re listening to Mozart or Meatloaf, and all for as little as £160.
The Tempo is one step forward in quality that’s within everybody’s reach.

The Datum arm has been designed to operate with cartridges of widely varying mass and compliances making it equally suitable for both moving magnet and moving coil types.
Several factors combine to bring the sonic performance of the Datum up to that of arms costing many times its price. It is essentially a medium mass design of rigid construction. The arm tube is barrel shaped giving strength and helping to combat standing waves. All junctions are firmly bonded together and bearing play is kept to a minimum to avoid spurious movements easily provoked by moving coil cartridges.
As already mentioned the sonic performance of the Datum belies its price.

From Hi-Fi Choice magazine….
“The Tempo provided a nicely balanced musical sound with particularly good midrange. Stereo images were well focused with good representation of depth and width. Recommended.”
