Audiolab 8000S Integrated Amplifier

Here we have a nice example of a classic simple integrated amplifier from British company Audiolab. Our 8000S comes in good fully working condition with a few minor cosmetic blemishes. It will be suitably packaged and comes with mains cable plus our regular three month warranty.

The original 8000 series from Audiolab left a legacy of revolutionary products, one of which being the legendary 8000A; a product which lead the way in simple but technically advanced stereo systems.
The 8000S is its spiritual successor, but this latest version features a raft of audiophile features including the ability to work in one of five modes.
Following the Audiolab philosophy of employing a modular approach for an easy upgrade path, the 8000S is really a separate pre amplifier and power amplifier sharing only a box and power supply. The two sections can be effectively separated from each other using the front panel selector, with the unit run in Pre/Power mode; or separately as a pre amplifier; or just a power amplifier.
A high quality, motorised volume control and motorised source selector are just two examples of the attention to detail exemplified in the design.
The power of the 8000S is self-evident, with 60 Watts per channel output and a maximum peak output current of over 25 Amps, the system is able to drive most loudspeaker loads with ease and comfort and is fitted with twin sets of loudspeaker terminals for convenient bi-wiring.
The 8000S also features 6-line level inputs and has 3 tape loops, all selectable from the supplied system remote control.
