Cyrus 6XP Integrated Amplifier – Quartz Silver

A very tidy example of the What HiFi award winning fully analogue 6XP amplifier from British brand Cyrus. Full working order and with 3 months warranty. With manual, but no remote.

The Cyrus 6 XP amplifier is based on the Cyrus 8XP d but without the digital input option or a power supply upgrade port. However, it can be returned to the Cyrus factory where it can be upgraded with the digital inputs, or fully upgraded to the Cyrus 8XP d, or even to a Pre XP. Because the Cyrus 6XP d amplifier has a very good DAC onboard you can use the Cyrus’ high performance CD transport instead of an integrated CD player.
Cyrus selected magnesium and a high tech pressure casting method for their main chassis because, like other high performance industries, Cyrus recognise many unique and desirable properties that help Cyrus improve their products. Cyrus components are compact yet powerful, so how can they achieve this miracle of engineering? Cyrus’ one-piece magnesium chassis creates a fabulously efficient way of radiating heat. This efficiency means Cyrus do not need massive heat sinks inside a big box. Cyrus components can. Therefore, be smaller and more home-friendly than the behemoths that use conventional case technology.
